From mid-November to mid-December 2010, YouView ran an 'Expressions of interest' (EOI) process, inviting end-to-end content enablers and on demand video/audio content providers to let us know if they were interested in participating in small technical development groups.
From the responses, we identified two core advisory groups for content enablers and content providers and a wider advisory group. This wider advisory group has since been advising YouView on the development of the technical processes which will enable content to be made available via the platform.
The group members are primarily involved in end-to-end content enabling, although many also have experience in on demand content delivery.
