YouView joins ChangeTheFace to help advance inclusion in technology

Building a more inclusive technology industry takes shared action. That’s why YouView has joined ChangeTheFace, bringing businesses together to learn, collaborate and accelerate meaningful progress on diversity, equity and inclusion.

At YouView we believe that diverse teams create better products, make stronger decisions and build a more inclusive culture. Membership will help us learn alongside organisations that share our commitment, while giving YouView a platform to contribute its own experience and support wider change across the sector.

As a member, we will have access to shared learning, research, benchmarking and collaboration opportunities with industry peers. We will also be able to contribute our own experiences and support initiatives designed to create better opportunities for underrepresented groups in technology.

Initially a campaign by Vodafone calling for more diversity in the tech sector, ChangeTheFace has grown into an alliance of like-minded companies committed to driving measurable change in diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) within the mobile tech sector.

Now part of the GSMA, (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) ChangeTheFace connects a global network of technology leaders, mobile network operators and start-ups. The alliance helps organisations scale effective approaches and turn diversity, equity and inclusion into lasting business and industry impact.

By learning from others and sharing what we do at YouView, we aim to accelerate progress within our own business and contribute to positive change across the wider sector.
